Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad can at long last take off now, Air India renounces flight boycott

New Delhi: Air India on Friday denied flight prohibition on Ravindra Gaikwad, in the wake of dismissing the Shiv Sena MP’s reserving early today.

Gaikwad had composed a letter to Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju yesterday communicating “laments” over the March 23 fracas on Pune-Delhi flight AI 852.

In the wake of the occurrence, Gaikwad was boycotted and slapped with a flying boycott by the Air India as well as all other private transporters, even as Shiv Sena cried foul and made unsettling influences in Parliament on Thursday.

Conceding that the prohibition on him in the previous 14 days is “influencing the successful release of my obligations and duties” the pastor asked for the confinements on his flight to be denied.
